According to new research conducted by Agoda, there are certain things that people are looking forward to most this year. It should be no surprise what two of the biggest items are.

“[Last year] was a year of survival and of making the best of it. Despite all that struggle and hardship, our research shows that there's a global desire for travel, connection, meaning and spending time with friends and family. Travel will resume eventually, because, ultimately, the human desire to travel is unstoppable," said Tim Hughes, vice president of corporate development, Agoda
With all the stay at home orders and relative uncertainly lingering throughout 2020, it's no wonder that one in three travelers are looking forward to spending more quality time with loved ones. Many said they would even love to travel with their loved ones.
Not only do people want to travel more, but they want to get out and make a difference in the world. In fact, the majority of future travelers said they're likely to commit to eco-friendly travel choices, which shows a renewed willingness to care for the environment.
